Bachelor of Science in Computer Science


Computer Science is directed at the theory and technology of computation. It is the science of information and deals with structures that store, transmit, communicate and process information. Whether these structures are expressed in hardware, called machines or in software, called programs, the fundamental concepts are similar. The student of computer science does not specialize along traditional lines that divide hardware and software, systems and applications, or theory and experiment. Rather, in the curriculum, a unified approach to the design and analysis of computing structures is undertaken.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To produce graduates who are proficient in design and development of computing solutions.
  2. To prepare students for graduate studies and become successful practitioners in the field of research and computing.
  3. To enable students in acquiring a comprehensive knowledge, skills and right attitude in the field of ICT.
  4. To conduct ICT related researches that facilitates new learning or enhance existing ones that focuses on public welfare.
  5. To engage in community outreach and extension programs that will help alleviate quality of life.
  6. To produce professionals who are national and/or international ICT Exam passers.

what are the factors affecting the comsci students in finishing the degree within 4 years??
