To capacitate local pool of consultants and create a Cleaner Production Technology Team in the region and help the MSMEs, DOST Caraga spearheaded a training on Cleaner Production Technology (CPT), September 11-13, 2017 at Butuan Grand Palace Restaurant, Butuan City.

September 06, 2017, Wednesday | In order to cater the members’ rights to information and consolidate its concerns regarding the impending activities and events, the Association of College of Engineering and Information Technology Students (ACEITS) in preparation for the CEIT General Assembly this 13th of September, has conducted a By Department Consultative Meeting at Mechatronics Building where there were 439 students have attended the said event: 185 from IT Department (morning session) and 254 from ES Department (afternoon session) respectively .
The faculty members and students of Information Technology Education (ITE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (EcE) programs attended the 1st Startup Weekend Butuan-Caraga held at the CBE Function Hall - Father Saturnino Urios University, September 1 - 3, 2017.
The Startup Weekend Butuan-Caraga was organised by Ideya, RISPhilippines, DICT- Butuan City, DTI Caraga with its collaborative partners, the Caraga ICT Council, the City Government of Butuan and IdeaSpace Philippines.
The CEIT conducted a one-day seminar-workshop on ITEM ANALYSIS last August 30, 2017 at the CEIT Audio Visual Room, Ampayon, Butuan City. It was made possible to assess and improve the reliability of the instructors' test questions.
The seminar-workshop was attended by the CEIT faculty members and was facilitated by Dr. Miraluna L. Herrera as the resource speaker and Engr. Ephraim Joy B. Beltran, who showed a demo on item analyses.
Caraga State University once again proved its competence by producing new sets of engineers for 2017. Twenty eight takers passed the recently concluded Mining Engineering Licensure Examination held last August 8-10, 2017 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu and Legazpi.
CSU’s performance in the Mining Engineering Licensure Examination, as expected, is highly notable with an overall passing percentage of 100% against the national passing percentage of 88.64%.
